Either your drawing is getting better or your scanner is getting better or both. Your line has a new darkness and smoothness and softness and confidence and energy to it. Is this the result of having completed your finals? Hmmmmm....it may be. Perhaps you are simply feeling more relaxed, more at ease, free-er and with more energy and confidence to spare and to put into your drawing.
